Going back through our archives for 2013, its nearly impossible to narrow down our favorites for the year. The few posted above are just a handful.

As always, its thrilling to be out on Louisville’s streets hunting down what makes our city style unique. We’ve also been lucky to seek out great street style in places like NYC, Austin, Atlanta, Amherst, Chicago, and even the Navajo Reservation this year.

2014 will bring exciting updates, new projects and posts, and our continued style section contributions in Louisville Magazine. Thanks for reading, and Happy New Year!

Brushed fur. Union Square, Manhattan, NYC. Spotted by Amber Garvey

This coat reminds me of brush strokes in an impressionist painting. Yesterday I saw the fabulous Impressionism, Fashion and Modernity exhibit at the MET, featuring men’s & women’s clothing seen in paintings by Renoir, Monet, Manet, Baudelaire, and more. These painters were capturing the look of the period in much the same way we do with street photography. A glimpse of a moment, just with a different medium. If you are NYC before May 27th, I highly recommend it!

Back to Louisville tomorrow!
